The Western Angiographic & Interventional Society (WAIS) celebrated its 55 year anniversary in 2025! 

WAIS hosts an annual conference that focuses on a single general session format to connect faculty and attendees through interactive discussions and shared experiences.  The 2025 Program is designed to address clinician practice gaps, as well as introduce emerging trends in image-guided therapies, patient care, and technology. Special sessions such as M&M lessons learned, clinical updates, and lunch & learn case-based presentations offer a variety of learning formats and maximize learner experiences. 

In 2024, there was a record 425 attendees from 35 different states and four countries.  Attendees and faculty are WAIS physician members, corporate representatives affiliated with exhibiting companies, non-member physicians, physician extenders, allied health professionals, and IRs-in-training (including our LSD scholarship recipients).
